I admit that one of my "bucket list" items is to visit Disneyland during October so I can experience first hand the parks celebration of my favorite holiday. I've been at the park in early September when they were preparing for the season and though the park wasn't decorated, they had some awesome Halloween stuff for sale in all the stores. Some which of course, found a way into our suitcases to come home with us.
If I'd found this 'Welcome to the After-Life'' Disney Theme Park Edition version of the Game of Life while there, I probably would have bought it, even though we rarely play board games at home. I think it would be an awesome game to have around when the God kids get a bit too old to go out trick or treating, but still enjoy being with us to celebrate the holiday. If your family regularly plays The Game of Life I think this would be fun to play on Halloween night, or any night during the Halloween season (and a perfect set up should you be planning on visiting the park around that time).
Sold online at the Disney store for $39.95, you can find it here. The game board has some glow in the dark elements and features Haunted Mansion and Phantom Manor buildings from Disneyland Park, the Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Paris Resort, plus a crypt, a carriage house, the Grounds Keepers shack, and a BOO-niversity. 7 buildings in all, plus 3 Mountains and 1 Bridge. There are even hidden Mickeys!
