CTV will host its nationally televised morning program Canada AM live at E.L. Crossley Secondary School Jan. 29 ? when winning proposals to the 2012 Aviva Community Fund competition will be announced.
The Riehl Skate Park in memory of Crossley ninth-grader Isaac Riehl is among finalists.
Aviva Insurance is giving away $1 million for ideas to create positive change in Canada.
The idea for a Pelham skatepark has a chance to become a reality thanks to support from the community and their online votes.
It was suggested in memory of Isaac, who died last October days after he was hit by a car while riding his longboard on Foss Rd.
Crossley students entered into the Aviva competition a proposal for a skatepark that would likely be built in Fenwick?s Centennial Park.
Canada AM will broadcast from the school?s gym from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Members of the Crossley community are invited to share in the celebration.
