Relationships - K-Love

Relationships are something that are a part of everyone of our lives, and relationships, on all levels, take some work.? The effort you put into any relationship always pays BIG DIVIDENDS!?

If you are resolving to grow in your relationship with the Lord may the words of King David in Psalm 51:16-17 encourage you that even in the tough things in life, He never leaves you, but draws closer...

"Going through the motions doesn?t please you,
????a flawless performance is nothing to you.
I learned God-worship
????when my pride was shattered.
Heart-shattered lives ready for love
????don?t for a moment escape God?s notice."

I never cease to be amazed how God communicates with us so personally, earlier today I shared this C.S. Lewis quote on twitter

"All this trying leads up to the vital moment at which you turn to God and say, "You must do this. I can't." - C.S. Lewis

And if that were not enough... He reminded me of the words to a poem my mom always had posted in our house, as I grew up.

I hope that you realize today just how precious you are to God, how much He loves you, and that He hasn't forgotten you and NEVER will.

If you're resolving to work on your relationship with your spouse... "Big changes" can result by doing the "Little Things", according to marriage counselors. Things like:

  • Doing something kind for each other every day.
  • Make sure you laugh.
  • Share your love on places like Facebook and Twitter.
  • Be sure to express your love in things like notes or a text message.

Being reminded of the importance of not taking our relationships for granted can be great motivation to work on your relationships.? A reunited military family is a great reminder of how important our loved ones are to us.
